Installation Guide
Notes:
- To minimize the risk of actuators moving at slightly different speeds, install the speed match paired actuators diagonally from each other
- In wet environments mount actuators with the motor on top
- Mount the Actuators
- Install Actuators diagonally, across the application as shown below for better synchronization.
-
- Fasten the mounting brackets securely so the moveable load is centered on the actuator extension arm
- Interconnect the Actuators
- Use the Double Cable to connect two actuators per cable
- Use the extension cable if additional length is required to reach the power/control unit.
- Connect Power and Control
- Connect the actuators to a 12 VDC Power Supply.
- Install the Wireless Remote Control DPDT Switch between the power supply and actuators.
- Testing and Fine Tuning
-
- Operate the system to ensure all actuators move smoothly.
- If speed discrepancies occur, adjust the cable length longer to slightly reduce the speed and shorter to slightly increase the speed.
- Stroke length can be adjusted by approximately ½” by turning the threaded extension rod clockwise or counter clockwise
Note: Installation of a 12-amp fuse is highly recommended between the power supply and switch
